Maintain brand standards and creative guidelines

About US:

Lone Star
restaurants embrace an authentic roadhouse theme and serve mesquite-grilled steaks, which are hand-cut fresh daily at each restaurant. Our menu includes "Texas-sized" portions of food, including a variety of combinations that are sure to please. With daily specials for lunch and dinner, a variety of appetizers and desserts and a full-service bar, Lone Star is a destination restaurant. Upbeat country and western music, Texas artifacts, and our excellent service standards enhance the Lone Star experience.

After a December, 2006 merger with Lone Star Funds, a Texas-based private equity firm, the Lone Star brand began a new and exciting era. While our commitment to quality and service is unwavering, we have created some new excitement with innovative focuses on franchising, marketing, remodeling, conversion of existing restaurants and ultimately the expansion of the Lone Star brand. We believe that our star is bright.

Lone Star offers an energetic, challenging and rewarding atmosphere and an exceptional salary and benefits package, including a 401K plan.

Application Engineer / Technical Service Engineer

Application Engineer / Technical Service Engineer

My client is an outstanding $4B international steel company that also participates in the OCTG and 'Line Pipe' markets. This is a people oriented, career building company, highly respected in the industries that they participate in. They are highly sought after as an employer for anyone that is aware of them.

Currently, I am assisting them in increasing their Application Engineering Group, to better serve their customer base. This Engineer will be responsible for being the eyes and ears of the OCTG market, gaining a better understanding of what the Drillers and Oilfield Production companies need in terms of properties in casing and tubing for different applications. The engineer would work with R&D to develop those proprietary grades and then assist sales in technical presentations to the Major Oil Companies engineering groups as well as Drilling companies and other Production companies. There would also be some field work at rig sights, in case there is a problem that needs to be analyzed.

The client is looking for individuals that have two main characteristics as well as a number of nuances:

First, we are looking for a 'technical' individual with a degree in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years practical hands on experience in the field working with drilling and completing wells.

Second, we are looking for a personality conducive to making presentations and working in a 'sales' oriented capacity.

We are looking for two individuals: One in Houston and one in Calgary.

If you are interested in exploring this opportunity (and if you have the qualifications, you really should explore this), please contact me as soon as possible.
