Network Administrator

Dynamic software company is looking for an energetic network administrator. Our category leading software is in use at 100+ advertising agencies across the United States.

Job Purpose:

Our Network Administrator has overall responsibility for the coordination, configuration, maintenance, security, operation and performance of our LAN/WAN, inclusive of voice and data communications.

High Level Responsibilities

System Availability – maintain a high availability, and high performance environment for systems network infrastructure: hardware and software.

Problem Resolution – resolve network and/or end user hardware/software problems in an efficient and timely manner. Provide technical consultation to the support team for resolution of client problems.

Disaster Recovery – develop, maintain, and execute disaster recovery plan to ensure minimum downtime in the event of a disaster affecting COREMedia’s daily operation. Maintain a communications plan for employees, and clients, to be executed in the event of a disaster. Document backup and recovery processes and procedures to be executed in the form of a “Playbook”.

Administration – Ensure a high level of systems network integrity. Monitor security threats and exposures. Maintain an updated document of the physical infrastructure environment including, but not limited to, servers, switches, firewalls, cabling etc. Ensure all software licensing is within compliance, and vendor maintenance contracts are current, and up to date.

Planning – Review HW and SW requirements on a quarterly basis. Propose and recommend HW and SW enhancements and/or replacements to improve overall productivity of end users.

Duties (For Illustrative Purposes)

- Set up, monitor, and maintain backup routine. Ensure successful completion of backups on a daily basis.

- Design and maintain Active Directory infrastructure including domain controllers, user and computer accounts, group and organizational unit assignments, and group policy

- Ensure proper network performance, troubleshooting issues as necessary

- Provide employee access to network drives and printers

- Maintain FTP server for client services use. Update account and password list as new clients are added.

- Serve as an escalation point for clients with questions or issues regarding installation runtimes, hardware, operating systems, terminal server, remote connectivity, Citrix, Terminal Services, networking, or IT infrastructure.

- Select and work with IT vendors, including email host, internet access provider, web host, telephone system provider, wireless service providers, and hardware and software vendors

- Maintain up-to-date list of workstation and server inventory.

- Provide training to new hires on use of computer, e-mail, network, and phone system

- Apply updates and patches to servers and workstations as needed.

- Support remote employees and clients connecting to our network via VPN and Terminal Server.

- Research, select, and recommend the purchase of new equipment.

- Keep track of expiration on software subscriptions and hardware service agreements. Recommend renewals as appropriate.

- Ensure that firewall policies are in place to maintain a high level of network security.

- Manage antivirus server. Ensure all users are connected and receiving updates daily.

- Maintain, support, and troubleshoot printer and copier hardware.

- Configure and provide support for mobile devices.

Primary Job Requirements:

Design, develop and produce cutting edge local restaurant marketing materials, from concept & hand-on typesetting/graphic design through finished product

A
bility to check pride at door to re-size agency-produced creative, as needed, for local marketing support materials

Ability to juggle multiple creative projects from concept through completion
Coordinates all design and printing needs for the department, including obtaining print estimates

Coordinate production process with print vendors to ensure all POP, menus and marketing support materials are ordered, produced and shipped on-time, on-strategy and on-budget
Proof all designs for accuracy and consistency of brand
Maintain knowledge of new printing enhancements and production processes
Coordinate fulfillment process of Local Restaurant Marketing materials
Maintain creative filing system for efficient retrieval of all creative jobs
Obtain approval of all creative from VP Marketing
