Software Development Analyst
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, information systems, or related area; 1-2 years web programming experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of two (2) or more of the following application and system technologies: Oracle RDBMS, SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Warehouse Builder, Oracle BPEL, UNIX, UNIX Shell programming, HTML, JAVA, JAVAscript, SVN, C/C++, ASP, VB.
Computing Environment: Multi-processor Intel with Red Hat LINUX application server environment using Oracle Application Server, Oracle Portal and Oracle DBMS.
Essential Job Functions: Participate with team to design, analyze, test, and implement software systems. Typical work-related activities include:
* Assist in systems analysis. * Write code to implement new software design and programs. * Provide maintenance, enhancements, and support of existing programs. * Communicate with end users regarding program requirements, design, and technical support. * Work with software quality assurance staff for system testing. * Assist with quality control of software systems. * Exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions regarding programs and services. * Keep abreast with new technologies and techniques; evaluate and recommend new development tools to team leader; assist in development and review of system documentation tests.
