Description of worker�s responsibilities: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of a new Data Management program, the Hyperion Developer will assist in the technical development efforts for the Hyperion reporting development, and associated initiatives that have been identified to be a part of a strategic Corporate data warehouse. The candidate will develop the data access components (cubes, reports, dashboards, etc.) required to support the business based on the standards and architecture specified by the Solution Architect and Senior Hyperion lead. This will encompass the following activities:
    • Develop Hyperion cubes, reports, dashboards, etc. required and analytical views for the Data Management Program and maintains existing reports, as needed
    • Work with Architects to develop technical documentation when appropriate
    • Provide Data Mart infrastructure administrative support
    • Perform unit, integration, system quality assurance testing
    • Support End-Users in UAT/production and research any issues and/or concerns.
    • Work with Service Provider to schedule loads and run of reports into production.
    • Develop, promote, and support the implementation of innovative technology solutions by working closely with Team Leaders, Developers, Architect, and Business Analysts.
    • Ensure that relevant Business Intelligence standards and procedures are followed



PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

* A minimum of three (3) years experience, as a Hyperion Developer (Hyperion Performance suite V9/Business Intelligence) , with a background of working on medium to large scale data warehouse projects.

* Strong knowledge of Hyperion business intelligence products (Essbase, Planning, Essbase Integration Services, Analyzer, Reports, Business Intelligence, Brio etc.)


* Communication skills to write test scripts, facilitate end user testing, write and deliver end user support materials, write and deliver user training on the applications

* Basic knowledge of SQL.

* Exposure to CMMI Level 3 software development lifecycle management processes.

* It is preferred that the candidate has a worked in the financial industry with specific experience in Traditional Credit Products: loans, leases, asset or collateral management.

* Strong attention to detail and quality control.

* Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle ambiguity effectively and develop/deliver findings and recommendations to the solution architect quickly.

* Position requires commitment to department goals, high energy, self motivation, attention to detail, creativity, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.

*BS in CS, Economics, Math, Information Systems (IS), or related discipline. This position requires the ability to manage initiatives to aggressive time frames to assure that deadlines are met. This is a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, so flexibility, innovation, and team focus are essential qualities for success.
