Seeking a configuration management specialist to manage the configuration management process for a LARGE Enterprise Java project. Configuration Management Specialist responsibilities would include:
- Managing the overall software builds across multiple sub-project development teams.
- Handling merging, branching, and other CM activities within SubVersion.
- Ensuring quality builds are delivered to stage, test, and production environments.
- Coordinating deliverables across development and data teams.
Required qualifications:

Job Description:
آ· As a member of the Software Configuration Management team, candidate will be responsible for:
آ· Assist with source control administration, merging, branching and builds
آ· Deploy changes to production and test environments while working closely with application developers, production support and quality assurance.

1) Experience in installing and configuring WebSphere Network Deployment specifically able to:
1. Install server-side Java applications.
2. Create Websphere cells.
3. Deploy applications in a clustered environment.
4. Modify plug-ins (XML edits)
Trouble-shoot WAS and IHS issues.
1) Minimum 3 years of systems-level technical experience with Websphere Application Server: able to install and configure WAS Network deployment software, able to assemble and install Server-side java enterprise applications, use WAS administration tools to configure and manage Enterprise Applications, configure Security for server-side applications resources, deploy applications in clustered environments, able to do performance management functions for a WAS environment, able to use problem determination tools and log files to troubleshoot problems
2) Minimum One year application work with the J2EE framework. Designed JSP/Servlet based systems, design and implement asynchronous enterprise components using Message-Drive Bean, build session beans (stateless and stateful), build entity beans (container-managed persistence and bean-managed persistence, develop applications using Struts validation and tiles framework.
3) Extensive working knowledge of Unix (Aix preferred), and Linux (z/Linux is a plus)
4) Extensive working knowledge of HTTP servers (IBM HTTP server, Apache, IIS)

The purpose of this position is to Project Manage functional projects. The Project Manager will enable successful project delivery through disciplined client project management processes and close collaboration with the business partners, the project realization team and the various IT functions. The Project Manager will be required to know or learn client's project and process methodology and to execute it within the established client organizational framework and oversight processes. Project Management experience as a Scrum Master, for projects using Agile-Scrum as a development methodology is highly desired. PMP Certification also desired.
Candidates must have 10+ years of experience managing implementation of large-scale, complex, multi-disciplined, cross functional and highly visible projects/programs, with budgets in excess of $2 million and team over 15 people. Demonstrable experience in multi-disciplinary leadership, strong customer focus and excellent people skills. Must be experienced in Project Management Methodologies/ PMP preferred. Experienced in client relationship management. The Project Manager will be required to know or learn client's methodologies, and to execute within the established client organizational framework and oversight processes.

Fully functioning, journey-level professional experience (generally 3 to 6 years) in most aspects of UNIX. Typically implements designs or approaches developed by others. Exceptional application analysis and design skills, as well as thorough trouble-shooting capabilities. Create UNIX-based facilities that are fault tolerant, step restartable, and reusable. Coordinating the efforts of inter-disciplinary groups. Experience Level: 4-6 Years. Skill Set: Unix, Batch processing, FTP. Knowledge of internals. Security and control concepts.
Functional work categories
The candidate must be an intermediate UNIX systems programmer capable of following documented procedures for the installation and configuration software packages on servers running various varieties of UNIX (principally IBM AIX v5.x.x). The candidate must be capable of following and consulting on installation scripts and procedures.
Software Installation and Maintenance - Develops logic; modifies, installs, tests and debugs software packages. Works with clients and vendors to achieve timely software installation and maintenance.
