Hard Skills
** At least 5 years of Cognos Development using Cognos 7.x and Cognos 8.0.
** At least 3 years of experience in building Dashboards and Data Cubes using Cognos.
** At least 1 year experience with Cognos Report Net 1.1 or Cognos 8 Report Net developing complex reports, packages with Framework Manger.
** At least 3 years of Oracle PL/SQL using Oracle 9i and 10g.
** UNIX shell scripting experience is a plus.
** General knowledge and understanding of the data architecture
** Prior work experience with Business Intelligence/ Data Warehouse.
Soft Skills
** Ability to communicate verbally in a clear and concise manner
** Critical thinking with the ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions
** Can work independently in a self directed work environment
** Ability to multi-task and carry out small and large tasks with the same level of zeal and urgency.
