BA’s with a solid development background would be considered- they must have a really good programming background because they will be running the application through testing environments, applying software patches, resolving issues, writing stored procedures. background supporting CRM/ERP applications: This isn't an ERP system, but someone with experience in providing production support for a CRM or other ERP system would be a good skill match (work with large Oracle databases, experience with enterprise monitoring and analysis tools, etc).

Functional Administration of SmartMeter Applications:
Tasks include:
• Management of SmartMeter IT Systems to meet data delivery requirements
• Measurement of SmartMeter data delivery systems metrics
• Configuration / execution of batch jobs, scripts, etc. to enable the “24 hr clock” and monthly and yearly processing
• Coordination with FFIOC monitoring
• User access and admin and functional configuration
• Proactive and reactive ad hoc inquires for OS status
• Proactive and reactive ad hoc inquires for application health
• Proactive and reactive ad hoc inquires for scheduled processes
• Report development and management for ad hoc and production
• Coordinate OS patch management and application upgrades
• Develop and document operations guides for system maintenance
• Comply with PG&E practices and procedures for security, SOX, and change control.
• For patches and new releases, install, configure and administer applications in pre-production environments; participate in pre-QA smoke tests.
• OIS support, including staffing the storm center when activated
• Interface management to other systems, WACS, etc.
• Backup and recovery coordination and testing
• Disaster Recovery support
• Meet or exceed departmental metrics for problem response/resolution timeframes and for internal customer satisfaction with SmartMeter IT Operations services. - Work with client's Smart Meter IT OPS team to support test and operational environments. Participate in implementation of s/w releases. Requires direct interaction with IT Ops team and Business Operations team
