Required Skills:
1. Experience with building the databases for SAP core R/3 and portals.
2. Experience with our SAP landscape/environme nt...database on IBM Z9 mainframe and R/3 on Windows application servers.
3. Experience with SAP Solutions Manager and communicating with SAP to solve issues.
4. Experience running and reading run stats for the SAP database and advice for tweaking the indexes in the database.
5. Experience resolving connection issues, update problems, and lock problems in the SAP databases.
6. General SAP BASIS experience.
SAP runs on the MF under Z-OS and utilizes DB2 DBMS.
