SAP ABAP Consultant

Location: PA USA
Description: Client has a short term need for a Senior ABAP developer to support enhancements to their R/3 and APO environments. The role will include many development items in various areas of Reports, Interfaces, User Exits, and custom ABAP objects. This person will report to Project Technical Lead as the primary ABAP development resource.
Responsible to work with functional and technical counterparts to gather/define functional requirements and develop technical solutions. Responsible for providing estimates, timelines and status updates on assigned development tasks.
Experience: At least 7 years of SAP ABAP experience, at least 1 project in a validated environment, and must have great communication skills. Must have experience in both R/3 and APO .
-Experience with SAP development activities such as User Exits/Custom Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, Dialog Modules, ABAP objects, Custom ABAP reports, etc.
-Development and configuration experience with extending the SAP R/3 Material Master
-Experience with Data Dictionary including table creation, data element creation, append structures, table maintenance, etc.
-Interface development experience between SAP R/3 and Legacy systems using BDCs, IDOCs, BAPIs, Flat File, etc.
-Experience with OSS note application via SNOTE
-Development experience using R/3 PP-PI and APO DP, APO SNP and APO PP/DS (R/3 4.6C and APO 4.1)
