Title: Information Systems Analyst

Length: 1 Year Contract
Information Systems Analyst
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This project will participate in developing integration & migration functional specifications, divestiture specifications, and mapping documents for a system that will support the needs of the Client.
The role includes developing partnerships and working closely with the Information Analyst to ensure clear understanding of the requirements and to resolve issues uncovered as part of the detailed analysis.
This role will also work closely with IT developers to aid in the clarification of the specifications and ensure IT solutions are effectively supporting the requirements.
PDM is a collection of projects based upon Windchill, an object-oriented product development software package for the Client.
PROJECT RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with Information Analyst to clarify scope of work, current & future systems landscape, MID requirements, and contacts
Develop a clear understanding of the integration and divestiture strategy for the project
Conduct detailed analysis of systems to be divested
Conduct detailed analysis of integration and migration requirements
Create detailed migration, integration and divestiture specifications
Review the physical data model and define requirements for extracts
Provide input to technical integration design as appropriate
Provide consistent communication to all team members (Leads, Functional Analysts, Usability Analysts, Developers and QA members) where needed to ensure requirements are understood and questions are answered
Perform functional testing with Developers
SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Must have proven experience in:
Excellent analysis and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong planning and organizational skills
Ability to work within process standards and guidelines while being adaptable to change and ambiguity
3+ years systems to system integration analysis and design
2+ years data analysis
2+ years SQL (Oracle preferred)
2+ years of using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
1+ years using MS Visio
Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent
Would prefer technical experience to include:
1+ years using Rational Unified Process methodology
1+ years UML (with ability to adapt to FWPCIT versions)
Knowledge of Windchill, particularly the object data model.
