| Functional Title: Framework Developer
Overall Experience: 5+ years
Position Description: FTA CORE, part of Lehman Brothers' Fixed Income Technology & Analytics Department, is responsible for developing and supporting a set of common technology components and frameworks that are used by various FTA Applications. FTA CORE is a key enabler of FTA Architecture Vision and consists of client-side and server side technology frameworks/componen ts. FTA CORE server side technology components include components that facilitate high speed communications with various front-office applications, configuration services that facilitate configuration driven front-office UI and frameworks that promote modular application development & deployment facilitating reuse. FTA CORE is seeking highly qualified developers to be part of the server side technologies team. Besides good design and development skills, ability to consult/coach developers from other application development groups on the adoption and use of FTA CORE is a critical success factor for this role.
Required skills and experience
•3-7 years designing and developing applications using multi-tiered architectures
•2-4 years of experience developing server applications using CORE Java, J2EE, JMS, Spring and Hibernate
•1-2 years of experience developing frameworks, shared components etc.,
•Ability to coach/mentor application developers from extended teams
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
Nice to have
•TIBCO EMS experience
•Experience using UML and UML Modeling Tools
•Fixed Income exposure
