As a Mechanical Engineer with Holcim (US) Inc, this is a unique opportunity to participate in all phases of a new state-of-the-art
The Mechanical Engineer will participate in the creation of preventative maintenance routines, lubrication schedules, spares requirements and bills of materials for new equipment prior to commissioning and work closely with the Project Team, equipment suppliers, plant staff and Process Area Teams to ensure successful commissioning of the plant. Once operational responsibilities with on-going plant operations include:
· Planning, budgeting, scheduling and efficient execution of plant projects and justifications for the capital plan
· Assistance with preventive/predictive maintenance programs (Inspection, Vibration, Oil Analysis, NDT, etc.).
· Perform design work associated with plant projects, development of new equipment, and upgrading of existing equipment to optimise plant operation, increase capacity and improve reliability
· Analysis and elimination of repetitive problems through root cause analysis
· Provide technical expertise to all process areas and Assist with the facilitation of continuous improvement processes
With your education in Mechanical Engineering and heavy industry/manufacturing experience (3-5 years in mechanical maintenance, mechanical project work, plant construction or supervision) provide a solid foundation to immediately impact the project and team. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a cross-functional team, decision making skills and innovative approach towards problem solving drive success.
