PHP Developers in a full time position
Successful candidates should have the following experince
PHP and MySQL coding expert (or ASP.net and SQLserver/Oracle), and be able to design database schema and read/understand existing schemas.
* Ability to use PHPMyAdmin for setting up and administering databases.
* Know how to use Photoshop for cutting-up designs: creating individual buttons/images based on larger graphic design model, and optimizing for web use as jpeg or gif files.
* Have experience creating Standards based Web sites (XHTML 1.0 or 1.1 and CSS2).
* Understand how to code Javascript and AJAX to create menu systems, animation techniques and making content/page changes without page refreshes.
* Understand Search Engine Optimization techniques as it pertains to content placement, use of mod_rewrite for search engine friendly URL’s, good use of H1, H2, ALT tags and customized Titles and Descriptions.
* Be very comfortable with Linux based operating systems (or Windows 2000/2003 Server), from an administrative and programming standpoint, and be able to install/setup new environments.
* Understand the difference between development, acceptance and production environments and how to promote code between them, as well as version control.
* Be familiar with various ISP hosting environments and their possible differences, in addition to how to set them up and implement secure servers.
* Have a good visual sense and the ability to create interactive websites, based on site maps, wire frames and matching designer models.
